Please try the following options to get the correct Child-Teacher ratio: 

1) If you are running a regular day-care (not 24 hour) then this can happen if some children were not checked out. Do the Day-Ending Process to forcibly check out the children. After this the ticker should get updated with the correct values.

2) Although the ticker refreshes itself to get the updated data, you can force the ticker to refresh and check the ratio. Click the Refresh Ticker icon (with two blue arrows) in the ticker.

3) If you are a 24-hour center then the dayending will not forcibly check out children. You need to update the check out time of the children and then refresh the ticker to get the updated Child-Teacher ratio.
