Why can I see AR transactions with a future date in the Current Statement but not in the General Ledger report?

Posting of future receivables ledger transactions:

1. Transactions posted for the future dates are recorded in the Receivables Ledger (RL) but are not posted to the General Ledger (GL) immediately.

2. GL side posting for these transactions will be completed in the Dayending Process on that future date.

3. In the RL table, a GL_Transaction_ID is created at the time of inserting the record in the RL table; consequently, a Transaction ID is pre-reserved.

This behavior is by design, which was developed considering the Trial Balance and Balance Sheet reports.

A user can get a list or totals for the pending GL posts, from the Current Statement report by filtering for a future period. This report does include the GL account names to which the transactions will eventually post.
