The Dashboard displays summary statuses for important information about your center so you can get up-to-the-minute statuses at any time.

The Dashboard lets you:

• View or customize standard statuses.
• Add new custom statuses.

Using the Dashboard

To see the Dashboard statuses, click the “Dashboards” button on the left. It will take several seconds to gather up-to-the-minute information. Use the scroll bar to see various statuses.

You can hide or display existing statuses:

1. Click the “Show/Hide Frames” button. A new report “Show/Hide Frames” will appear.
2. Change “ShowOnDashboard” to 0 to hide the status, or to -1 to show the status.
3. Close the “Show/Hide Frames” frame. The Dashboard will take several seconds to gather information.

The Dashboard also lets you:

• Print a report of the selected status by clicking the “Show Report” button.
• Modify or add statuses.
• Change the caption of a status.

Standard Dashboard statuses

iCare comes with these standard Dashboard statuses:

Enrollment:

• Total Children by Program
• Monthly Calendar
• Upcoming Birthdays

Attendance:

• Children Current Attendance vs Scheduled
• Attendance by Programs and Periods
• Busline List
• FT/PT Attendance by Programs and Periods

Staff attendance:

• Staff Current Attendance vs Scheduled
• Staff Attendance by Programs and Periods
• Staff Leaves or Vacations

Accounting:

• Total Income by Program
• Payments Received by Program
• Total Paid, Total Unpaid, Total Discounts
• Total Accounts Receivable

Records:

• Missing Forms and Immunizations

To modify a Dashboard status or add a new one:

To modify a status or add a new one:

1. Click Change Query on a status. A Data Browser form will appear.
2. Edit the existing SQL query or enter a new one.
3. Click Accept Query to see the results.
4. If you want to save this as a new query instead of modifying the existing query (recommended), change the query name.
5. To save the query, click Save Qry for Dashboard.
