Why can't I export reports to Excel when running Excel on a network?

If you are running Excel across a network, Excel needs permission to access the "Bin" folder on your computer.

1. Find the "Bin" folder (normally C:\DCMS9003\Bin) and right-click on it.

2. Select "Sharing and Security...". The properties for the "Bin" folder will display.

3. In the "Network sharing and security" area, you will see two checkboxes, "Share this folder on the network" and "Allow network users to change my files". Make sure that both are checked.

4. Click "Okay".
