How do I add text to the bottom of every page of a report?
First, run the report that you want to change. Click the Viewer tab, then Format->Format Report.
Crystal Report Designer will start. (You may want to maximize its window so you can see things more easily.) Right-click in the report to bring up a menu; select Insert->Text Object. A text rectangle will appear in the wrong place. Drag it into the "Page Footer" section of the report. Click in it to type your message. You can drag it around, resize it, and change its text properties.
Use File->Preview to see if it looks correct. Use File->Save to save it, and File->Exit to get out of Crystal Report Designer.
Upgrading iCare will overwrite your improved report, so you should make a copy of it in another folder somewhere. The improved report is in C:\DCMS9003\Reports. It will be the latest file, except for "rptPreview.rpt" which you can ignore. Use the usual Windows methods for copying a file.
