iCare Knowledge Base

1.       Insert the iCare CD in the CD-ROM Drive.

2.       iCare Installation Window will automatically come up.

3.       Click on the Install iCare button.

4.       Follow instructions as they appear on the screen. Answer questions as prompted.

5.       When you are prompted to restart your computer, click YES.

6.       Your system will shut down and restart after a minute or two. See warning below.

7.       Double-click on the iCare icon on your desktop.

8.       If you have installed iCare for the first time you will be asked if you want to register iCare or use it as a Demo. Choose using it as a Demo.

9.       If you have installed iCare before, you will be asked if you want to transfer your data from the older version to a newer version. Choose YES.

æ          When Windows restarts, some older systems may take up to 15 minutes for your desktop to appear. Do not shut off the power to your computer at this time.

æ          Instead of a CD the iCare installer is also available as a download. Ask for sales or support.
