Upgrading iCare from an Upgrade Patch (Web Download)
ć Make sure iCare is shut down on every workstation before starting the upgrade process. The upgrade process requires full access to the database files. If the database files were locked then you would get an error message that the database configuration has failed.
ć If you are running the Day Ending Service on a server, you must shut it down as well before starting the upgrade process.
ć If you are upgrading from an older version to versions 7.5.582 and higher, a file named DCMSRegister.mdb is required. This file has to be placed in the DCMS9003\Databases\MainCenter folder. Contact customer support at Orgamation Technologies for the file.
