Computer Setup
The iCare screen interface is designed to work optimally at a monitor resolution of 1024 x 768, LARGE FONTS. If your setting is not correct, controls such as command buttons may not show fully on some screens.
Setting Monitor Resolution
Do the following to check and change monitor’s resolution and font settings:
1. If you are running any programs, minimize them.
2. Right-click on your desktop.
3. Select Properties.
4. Click on the Settings tab.
The slide bar in the Screen Area should be set to 1024x768. If it isn’t, then move until it is correct and click on the Apply button.
5. When you are prompted that Windows will adjust the display settings, click OK.
6. You will then be asked whether you want to keep these settings. If the screen looks OK, you have 15 seconds to click Yes to make the change permanent.
7. Click on the Advanced button. Change the Font Size to Large Fonts.
8. You will be prompted to restart your computer.
Make sure that you do not have any other programs running. If any programs are running, save your work and close the programs
9. Click OK or Yes to restart.
Modem
Make sure there is a working modem installed so that you can get on-line training and support from Customer Support at Orgamation whenever needed. If your PC has an Internet connection then you don’t need the modem.
