Installing a 3" Receipt Printer for Point-of-Sale Transactions
1. Install the Receipt Printer. For example, line printer, Star SP-200, by Star Micronics.
2. Make sure that the proper drivers are installed. Contact your hardware vendor for any printing problems.
3. Click the Edit A/R button in the Toolbar.
Or you can go to the Receivables department, click the A/R Statements tab, and select Edit Receivables Ledger. Or, if you have Drop-In Services, click the Drop-In button on the Toolbar.
4. In either the Receivables Ledger Manager or the Drop-In form, click the $$ (Enter Payment) button.
5. Click the Set 3" Printer […] button to set the printer to be used for 3" receipts.
6. After entering a transaction, to print 3" receipts click on the 3" Receipt Printer button.
7. To print on the regular printer click on the other printer button.
Check the paper in the printer regularly. You will not be able to open your cash drawer or print receipts if it runs out.
