Installing Signature Tablet for Attendance and Signatures

The iCare Signature Tablet, supplied by Orgamation, can be installed with iCare for the purpose of entering authenticated attendance. It eliminates the possibility of someone finagling attendance data or wrongfully entering attendance for someone else.

The Signature Tablet can be used for both the staff and for parents to enter attendance for their children. It has the following features:

§         Password entry

§         Check in and check out for attendance

§         Encrypted signature entry for each check in and check out

§         RSVP messaging

Installation Instructions

1) Log in the computer that will host the Signature Pad and insert the Topaz CD into the CD Drive to commence the installation of the SigPlusSE software.
2) After the installation of the Signature Pad driver and any optional support, the computer needs to be rebooted.
3) Connect the Signature Pad interface cable to the Computer’s USB port, and to the Pad’s interface point.
4) Execute SigPlus Adjust and confirm (click OK) that the settings are established as:
                        a.LCD4X5SE
                        b.HSB
5) Replace the Topaz CD with the Orgamation Technologies CD and copy the DigitalSignIn.Exe into the C:\DCMS9003\Bin folder. Future updates will be available at www.orgamation.com/ServicePacks

6)     Start the iCare Application

a.       Select System HW Setup under System Configuration

b.      Select the Signature Capture Tab

c.       Select Desired options of Showing Account Balance when logging in and or Print In/Print Out receipts

d.      Save the settings.


Hardware Requirements:
The computer that will operate best with this Signature Pad includes:
   1) Windows XP
   2) 2.5 GHz or faster with 500MB of RAM minimum
   3) CD Drive
   4) An available USB Port
