The family feature has part of the household demographics requirements for low income assistance programs; for example, programs run by a community action council. The family feature is different from the sibling and parents group feature in the children's relationship setup.

The family demographics feature is part of the Family Data form which is accessible from the Contacts tab of the Enrollment form. This form includes other fields, such as family income, family type, housing type, using food stamps and reassessment date, etc.
