It's 9 O'Clock, Where Are You? |
|
That depends. If you are one of the many child care center or private school directors that are overworked and struggling, you are probably up to your neck in paperwork, with post-it notes all over the place reminding you of everything you have yet to finish. On the other hand, there are some child care and school directors that went home hours ago and by now are having quality personal time away from work. How is it possible? The latter director has programmed 9:00 PM to be the time when the "DCMS Day Ending Process" begins to work. At this designated time, DCMS-based iCare Child Care and edMaster School Management Software activate itself and begin its end of the day processing for your child care organization. It now performs many of the tasks that kept the first director preoccupied. With no one in attendance, iCare and edMaster will: - Calculate the billing on actual check in/check out times including accurate late fees and additional charges
- Reconcile and post printable ledgers and invoices
- Calculate the next inoculation date for children, using your state specific schedule
- Assemble all the prearranged and customized messages to parents and staff to be electronically communicated the following day with multi-lingual options. To include:
- Notification to parent of upcoming events and subsequent billing of those children wishing to participate if there is a cost involved.
- Notification to parent of a past due account
- Notification to parent of an inoculation date
- Notification to parent of any overdue immunizations
- Escalation of immunization status to director if records are not updated
- Notification to staff of medication instructions
- Notification to parent of any accounts due and/or overdue
- Reconcile attendance data for better staffing and student/staff ratio administration.
- Reconcile scheduling information based on default, changes in default, and temporary schedules.
- Perform data backup and other MIS utilities.
- Calculate and post staff payroll.
- Print classroom list/roster sheet.
