The following are enhanced report-making tools available in the Advanced Report Maker.

Embedded Crystal Report Designer

The Complete Crystal Report Designer is embedded in iCare. Some of the features included are:

• Formatting data
• Grouping, sorting and summarizing
• Headers and footers
• Running totals
• Cross-tab (pivoting) objects
• Formulas and functions
• Pictures and desktop formatting
  

Column Grouping (pivoting) Wizard

The column-grouping wizard lets you create custom analytical reports. The data is organized in columns, so operational changes can be reviewed. For example:

• Month to month AR aging
• Week to week changes in attendance
• Changes in the collections
  

Converting Standard Reports to Custom Reports

Using the ‘Save As’ feature you can create a copy of any standard report. You can then apply the other report formatting tools to format your copy of the report.

The copy becomes an ad hoc report in the system and is automatically carried over when you upgrade your software version. In this way, you do not have to redo the formatting of your reports after every software upgrade.

Report Scheduler – Scheduled Printing or Emailing

You can schedule a report to print or get emailed at specified times, which can be performed just once or repeated daily, weekly or monthly.

Mail-Merge Template Maker

You can create a mail-merge template using the fields of any report. The mail-merge process is simple. Open any report and go to mail-merge new template. Select the fields you want to include in the letter and save the template. In MS Word, you can write and format the letter. Come back to iCare and print or email one or all the letters.
