The Children, Family and Contacts Database module is the base module of iCare Child Care Management Software. It is robust to eliminate the possibility of duplicates and errors, and it is flexible to handle the needs of your unique child care center or private school.

Enrollment Management

• Current or future enrollments and un-enrollments automatically update child accounting, scheduling and projection reports.
• Future start or discharge dates for each child to manage leaving or returning children.
• Batch process can efficiently change child enrollment status, rooms or programs at year-end.
• Web-based enrollment of children with direct import into iCare Software or email of enrollment data eliminates data entry (see iCareWeb).
• Enrollment Classification allows children to be organized by programs, secondary programs, rooms, enrollment types and slot IDs

Batch Enrollment Changes and Future Events

The Mass Enrollment form in iCare Child Care Management Software lets you make year-end changes to the children’s active or inactive status and program name quickly through a batch processing grid.

The Future Events form in iCare lets you maintain a child’s future schedules, temporary schedules and the start and end dates for enrollment, reenrollment or un-enrollment from one place.

Memos and Daily Activities Notepad

In the Memos Notepad, teachers can write notes on each child’s daily activities, behavior and development in definable categories. Notes can be printed, emailed or made accessible to parents on the Web (Web method requires iCareWeb).

Management by Sites

Local, regional and centralized management of data, activities and transactions by sites is part of our central server model. This eliminates laborious and repetitive file transfers and data synchronization. (This feature is available in iCareSQL only).

Custom Forms and Reports

You can create custom forms and reports to track any type of information about children and their contacts. For these features refer to Custom Report Maker and the Custom Form Maker.
